93 year old Robert Gerard was last seen in Centralia, Washington on July 6, 2020. He was last seen near the intersection of Reynolds and North Pearl Street, walking with the assistance of a gold cane.
Background
Robert is a World War II veteran. Prior to his disappearance, he had been placed in a nursing home. He said he felt trapped there and did not want to go back.
Gerard has dementia and had recently started having seizures. He requires medication which he does not have with him.
Disappearance
At approximately 5:00 pm on July 6, 2020, Robert Gerard was last seen in Centralia, Washington.
He climbed over his backyard fence and left his home on Seward Avenue, then proceeded to walk to a neighbor’s house on North Pearl Street.
The neighbor agreed to give him a ride, but Gerard got out of the vehicle at the intersection of West Reynolds Avenue and North Pearl Street, about three quarters of a mile from where he had got into the car.
Gerard then interacted with individuals who were visiting a loved one under the supervision of Reliable Enterprises, according to the Centralia Police Department.
Robert hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Appearance
Robert has white hair, blue eyes, stands 6’0 tall, and weighs 185 pounds. He has a faded tattoo on his right forearm.
Clothing & Accessories:
Robert was last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, romeo style shoes, a white baseball cap, and a rose gold metal cane.
